Parties involved:

Rick Ross and Drake collaborated for years on songs including “Aston Martin Music” and “Stay Schemin’.” Their relationship became an open conflict on April 13, 2024, when a leaked version of Drake’s “Push Ups” attacked Ross and said Drake was responsible for his charting records.

Ross answered within hours with “Champagne Moments,” turning their former collaboration into a direct diss-track exchange.

On “Champagne Moments,” Ross accused Drake of using ghostwriters, having cosmetic surgery and sending a cease-and-desist connected to French Montana. These were Ross’s allegations, not established facts.

Drake responded on April 14 by posting an Instagram exchange with his mother in which he mocked and denied the nose-job claim. He also called Ross “angry and racist.” Ross released “Champagne Moments” to streaming services on April 15, and Drake officially released “Push Ups” on April 19.

Drake targeted Ross again on “Family Matters” on May 3. He answered Ross’s repeated “white boy” label, referred back to the surgery allegation and mocked him with an Ozempic line. The track continued their personal exchange without proving either artist’s accusations.

After Ross performed in Vancouver on June 30, “Not Like Us” played as he left the stage and a man punched him during a confrontation. Drake later liked a post containing footage, but available reporting did not establish that he organised, directed or knew about the incident in advance.

In May 2026, Drake referred to Ross on “Make Them Pay,” again claiming he had helped Ross’s streaming success. Ross answered on Instagram by calling Drake’s new projects “mid” and Drake “washed.” Later that month, Ross performed their older collaborations but laughed when asked about reconciliation.

Ross said in July 2026 that he would continue celebrating the records they made together because their shared history could not be changed, while rejecting expectations of a reunion. Neither artist has announced a reconciliation, so their conflict remains publicly unresolved.
